TEHRAN -- The Tehran Symphony Orchestra is to give a concert on Sunday at the Vahdat Hall on the occasion of Imam Khomeini’s death anniversary.

Conducted by Nader Mashayekhi, the orchestra is to take part in an arrangement for six lyrics composed by the late Imam. Vocalist Ali Tafreshi will accompany the orchestra. Mashayekhi told Mehr News Agency, “Three of the lyrics have been arranged to be accompanied by the orchestra and the other three by the piano.”

The orchestra will also play an elegy composed by Mohammad Mirmehdi.
